PROJECT 4 ALL
Great food for the homeless

We appreciate those that volunteer to cook for us and recognise that it can be a daunting task when you’re not used to catering for so many people at once, so we ask all our valued Chefs to read through this page to ensure everything will be “Alright on the Night”.

Please don’t be shy to ask for help, we have Volunteers and Support Workers on hand for advice and any help and support you may need.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR ALL CHEFS

We also provide meals for residents at the PROJECT 4 ALL Halfway House as well as Volunteers & Support Workers who regularly dine with our clients as part of our work. “Beggars can’t be choosers” is not a phrase in our vocabulary. Our mission is to make everyone feel Wanted and Valued, so we try our best to give them the V.I.P. treatment every time. 1 – We only supply tasty, nutritious, freshly cooked meals to our friends in need.
2 – Average meal serving is around 500g per person.
3 – The Support Workers will provide packaging and help serve the food up.
4 – If you need big cooking pans or utensils, please let us know.
5 – If you’re going to run short on food, contact us in advance so we can come and drop off what you may need.
6 – We can give you advise on suppliers who have good deals for the project so you can buy the food at the best prices possible.
7 – Please let us know what you plan on cooking and if you’ll be providing drinks or deserts.
8 – Please do not cook with, supply or offer any alcohol to or for our Clients, Volunteers or Support Workers. Many of our Clients and Volunteers are recovering Addicts so please keep this in mind when cooking.
9 – Please adhere to Covid Health Regulations,
10 – ENJOY YOURSELF! Don’t get stressed, don’t be alone, cook with friends or with our Volunteers

Help is always on hand, remember we want you to have our V.I.P. experience too.
