Meet Richard – The Steady Hand Behind Project 4 All

This is the second blog to introduce the team at Project 4 All.

Since joining Project 4 All at the end of 2021, Richard has been more than just our Treasurer — he’s been our anchor. Affectionately referred to as “Boss” by Arne, Richard brings both meticulous attention to detail and a big heart to everything he does.

His role goes far beyond balancing the books. Richard stringently manages the use of membership giving and donations, ensuring every euro is spent wisely — from day-to-day expenses like food run provisions and petrol, to major investments such as our new website and delivery vehicles

Resilience in the Face of Challenges

Last year was not without its trials. Richard faced a series of medical emergencies, culminating in an urgent helicopter trip to Alicante for heart surgery. Remarkably, even during this challenging period, he stayed on top of the numbers. Once recovered, he came back strong, leading the development of our brand-new website — a vital tool in connecting with our supporters.

Richard’s steady, level-headed approach is the perfect foil for Arne’s boundless enthusiasm. Together, they are a driving force, ensuring that Project 4 All remains both compassionate and accountable. Whether making strategic financial decisions or heading out to the streets to help those in need, Richard is deeply committed to making a real difference in our community.
